One thing I forgot to mention for the last episode was the backgrounds look like pictures that didn't blend in and just pictures pasted in. The animation of the pillars falling dowb looked a little stiff.

Just mentioning this as we see this in the flashback.

I like the sneaking part. I dunno why, it looks kinda cool for some reason.

I like the programmer dude, not just because MasakoX voices him, but also because I like how he's portrayed as a programmer and a guy trying to do his job. Nylocke's an alright character, but I'm starting to hate his gag a bit.

Again, this goes on a bit too quick, but I'm not sure how long these are supposed to be.

As for voice acting, better than the last one. Mainly cuz none of them were annoying. But I find it cool how your sister helped out with this movie.

I'm also enjoying the 8-bit music aswell as the other music, too. Kajeto-kun did a great job on composing, too.

Animation could still use work, but it's not as bothersome as the last episode.

Writing was a little better here, though. Not sure why, but I like the story in this episode.
Keep on improving, dude. I'm sure you'll get there.

This is alright.

I notice that many people are giving this quite the negativity, but to be honest I'll give this a bit more optimism.

Now, do agree that this idea has been done to death, but obviously this is best off that old TTA series that you worked on many years ago. But I'm not even sure if this is a continuation of where the series last left off or just a reboot.

Anyways, the art looks pretty good, but to be honest the coloring needs some work. I mean, the shading doesn't look too believable. At all. Yes, the gradients look terrible to be honest. I'm glad your trying harder to make the art look more appealing now.

The animation between the dialogue sequences look fine but could do with out the tweens as I've seen you do some really good frame by frame work.

As for the writing and characters, some of the dialogue could have been rewritten as it didn't really sound funny or it just wasn't suitable based on the situations the characters had to fit. I'm also glad the Raccoon dies as he was really starting to get on my nerves a bit. I also thought things were going a bit too fast because this is the first episode and we're introduced to a bunch of characters. We do need to learn about them more before progressing. I know you have character sheets on your DA, but I don't think that's enough. Try to work a bit more on the character development.

Voice Acting was a hit and miss with me. I do like your voice work and the voice work of Alpha and some of the main characters. However, some voices were really annoying like the hackers and some of the background characters.

Overall, it's not that good of a start off but it's passable to me.

To be honest, the whole thing felt like it was gonna go on forever. I really didn't like the raccoon character as he sounded like a really terribly stereotype. The blob guy was passable as a character as he didn't sound like some wisecracking character who's trying to sound black. But the animation was alright. I'll give you that, the colors really need some work.

While I do agree about the point of this flash, the animation needs working on.

The movement looks pretty good. I like how well done the frame-by-frame works and you also did a pretty good job on the shading, too. But there were a few things that put me off.

First, there were some errors in the artwork. Most notably, the hands as they looked backwards. Sure it's a cartoon, but even so it makes things look off. Try using references to help out when drawings things like hands, props and whatnot.

Another thing was the mouths as they flapped open and close and just looked too robotic. If your working towards getting the animation to look smooth, try and make sure the lip syncing doesn't look weird or lazy.

The last thing is the mic quality. The voice acting was alright but could use improvements. However, it can all be done well if you have a good microphone. There was too much static and it sounded like you were too close that your breathing was blowing in to it.

Nice work, but try to work on these things for the next movie.

I can understand that pressure. I REALLY hate being under pressure.

I did like the animation here. It was smooth, and really had some effort in it. The part where things get trippy looks nice and I also like the shading, too.

Also like how the joke was short and too the point.

Nice job.

Oh Jesus. I can imagine everyone going to compare you to Oney or whatever. But atleast unlike him,
you had experience working here.

Anyway, I think you did much better with the animation here. The representation of you was well animated and I did like the way you animated that employer guy. The faces on the pig could use some work, but that's understandable as animals are a lot harder to draw or animate sometimes. It depends on the animal.

As for the humor, this is rather tame compared to your other things. I mean, the whole pig sty and whatnot was a funny way to represent yourself and your room. I also liked how he just jumps out the window after being yelled at by the man.

Redfeather also did a good job. I honestly don't hear him yell a lot. It's funny that I say that because I thought he did all the screaming in your older movies (which were Zega000's)

Well, I think you did great on this one. Now that SNL's out of your hair, let's hope this year will bring some wacky fun with Cory.

PS:- Dex is unfunny and lame.

To be honest, this wasn't funny at all.

The tweens were horribly done and they just looked so lifeless. I mean, you've been animating for a while now. Why give us something that a beginner dishes out. Try some more f-b-f practice or if you wanna try tweening, practice tweening in a way that does make it look lazy.

The voices were terrible. Now, I could care less about the accent as that doesn't bother me. The emoting could have, however been better than it was. Also, Ricepirate was slightly annoying in this movie. I'm not a big fan of his and to be honest his voice didn't go well with the animation.

Also, the idea was just nonsensical. Everything was just too random and out of place, like the yugioh joke.

Also, the music usage was also random. None of them fit the situation. For example, the Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire battle music wasn't needed for when Swiper goes insane.

Overall, you have a long way to go my friend. Tutorials and practice are a must here.

bocodamondo responds:

first of all: that was flash is a joke itself, in other words, i made this on purpose NOT like my normal animation style . normaly i dont do everything with tweens. im more Frame By Frame Friend.
i hate tweens myself. you should know More about me befor critic me about 1 animation.

Second: if you didn like voices! thats your problem! we dont share the same taste of audio. its better so , i mean if we were all the same, that would be boring as hell...

Third: that was just an idea came out of my head as i was in college. i actuarly was aware that i wont be funny. since your fools ALL have that disgutsting taste of humor of tapeworms in ass or bisual sexual rape or the best one COCK JOKES! pffff...
im not funny and im ok with it.

Fourth: thers a billion Musics in NG audio portal! its not easy to find the best ones without help so easy.and besides as i said in above. we all dont share the same taste of audio! like it .like it | dont like it. dont like it .

so overall: your critic is plain and effectless since this is not even my REAL style at all!
but on the turorial things...im allready ON on that

cheers

My god!! You speak to me. You just speak to me in so many ways.

I think I'm in love with you.

Seriously, the newfags and the13-year-old kids need to watch this to learn something new about humor. I noticed that a joke came from the "How to be a Youtube Famous VBlogger" that was released a few years ago. I guess RWJ started to lose his popularity already.

Also, GoAnimate sucks and anyone who uses it needs to learn how to draw.

While the art style's not as accurate, I did admire the animation here.

This was the sweetest thing that I have ever watched. At least anything that has to do with My Little Pony. The music was very fitting. But seeing that it's from Pixar, this makes this much more emotional. I mean the Toy Story series and Up are great examples of music with emotion.

The voice wasn't all that convincing, but it wasn't annoying at least. She did have the correct tone and emotion, too. Nice job overall.

Piggybank12 responds:

I did originally intend to try and mimic the art style of the show, but in an effort to deal with time constraints and put a more unique spin on things to help give it a more personalized look, I just went and animated it by hand.

The song from Toy Story 2 (When She Loved Me) has only the very beginning of it played, at the end of the second scene when the music starts and the screen fades to white for the first time. After that, it's all a completely different unedited song, the one called "Danny's Theme." And yes, Pixar and Disney played some sort of influence with figuring out how to construct the story to have the emotional impact it has.

I wasn't sure who to go to for doing Twilight's (the pony) voice, and held auditions for the role. Three people sent in entries, and this was by far the best entry I got. The reason why is exactly the same thing you said: she had the correct tone and emotion for the scene, which all the other entries lacked. I too would have liked a more dead-on voice for the role, but since she came pretty close to her voice and nailed the emotional part of it (which was probably more important here in the long run anyway), I chose her for the role.

Thank you for taking the time to make a review here, it means the world to me!

Boy, am I impressed.

Great animation and a the ability to imitate the style of the show itself. The shading and everything else looks close to perfect. I'm most impressed. Also, the use of Bruce Faulconer's score was highly appropriate. Nice work, man. If only I watched this back then. lol

I'm a guy who's been a big fan of Newgrounds since the mid-2000s and is happy to share his art with this community and meet new people.
